Every great institution begins with a dream, and the story of Geetanjali Olympiad School is no different. In 2004, Mr. P. Sreenivas Rao founded the school with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a space where children could learn with joy, think independently, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals.
What began as a small school in V.V. Nagar has today blossomed into a vibrant community of learners across Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Bangalore. Like a banyan tree that stands strong and gives shelter, Geetanjali has spread its branches far and wide, nurturing thousands of young minds under its care.
Behind this journey stands our beloved Chairman Sir, Mr. P. Sreenivas Rao, a man whose life’s passion is education. For him, teaching is not just a profession but a calling. His vision has always been to make quality education accessible to every child, regardless of background, and to ensure that each student receives not just knowledge, but also the values that help them live meaningful lives.
His humility, foresight, and deep faith in the potential of young people continue to inspire everyone in the Geetanjali family. Under his leadership, the schools have grown not just in number, but in heart, carrying forward his belief that education is the greatest gift one can give to the next generation.

Ms. Swaranalatha, the Correspondent of Githanjali The Global School, Kondapur, has been deeply involved in the field of education for over a decade. As the Finance Director for the chain of Githanjali The Global Schools, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s growth and success.
A dynamic and visionary leader, Ms. Swaranalatha is driven by her dream to redefine the way education is delivered, making it more effective, engaging, and meaningful for every learner. She believes that true education goes beyond textbooks, nurturing curiosity, confidence, and creativity in every child.
Under her guidance, Githanjali The Global School strives to prepare and inspire the next generation of leaders. The school takes pride in empowering students to think independently, participate actively, discover their passions, and excel in whatever they choose to pursue.

OUR PRINCIPAL
Ms. Aindrila Ghosal is an accomplished educator, a visionary school leader and an author with over 15 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design, and academic management. She is known for her strong understanding of how children learn and what truly makes a school thrive.

As a leader, our Principal Ma’am brings together deep academic knowledge, creative thinking, and a genuine love for students. Her approach to school leadership is rooted in the belief that education should nurture both the mind and the heart, helping children become not only successful learners but also thoughtful, confident, and compassionate individuals.
Having worked extensively with the Cambridge curriculum having earned acumens for her work, she is a seasoned Cambridge Assessment Specialist and a Certified Career Counsellor. She has trained teachers across India and has been recognized internationally for her contributions to education and mentorship. Her leadership style is collaborative and reflective and she believes that great schools are built through empowered teachers and inspired learners.
Ma’am also holds a Triple Master’s degree, having studied at Jadavpur University and has also studied Education Management with a research specialisation on Adolescence Psychology, which shape her interdisciplinary, mindful and emotionally creative approach to education. Her background gives her a deep appreciation for ideas, stories, and perspectives from different cultures, something she brings into the way she leads and connects with students.
A firm believer in mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and 21st-century skills, she encourages her students to think independently, express themselves fearlessly, and grow with a sense of balance and purpose. She often says that education should prepare children not just for exams, but for life, teaching them how to learn, adapt, and care. Her book ‘Reclaiming Wisdom-Transforming Education for a Conscious Future’ aptly reflects her philosophy and has widely been appreciated for its fresh and thought-provoking ideas on progressive education.

Mr. D. V. N. Rao brings with him a wealth of global experience and a deep passion for education. Having worked abroad for over a decade with renowned organizations such as L&T and JEP, he combines professional excellence with a heartfelt vision to create a school that truly transforms young lives.
A man of great dedication and foresight, Mr. Rao’s dream has always been to build an institution that nurtures not only bright minds but also kind and responsible hearts. He believes that true education goes beyond academics, it is about shaping children into good human beings with strong values and empathy.
